| The Sensocon Calibration Exchange Program is designed to be
a hassle free calibration service that eliminates down time as well as give peace
of mind and security by extending the warranty of the product. The service is
offered in 3 or 5 year periods with 6, 9, or 12 month calibration intervals to
suit the individual calibration requirements of each customer. The Calibration
Exchange Program can be initiated at the time of purchase or anytime within a year
of purchase.
How does it work?
- Quotation:
- Contact Sensocon with the part number of the product to be entered
into the Calibration Exchange Program along with the desired service
period and calibration interval. The service numbers and options are
shown below:

- Order:
- At the time of order the information in the Calibration Exchange
Service Agreement must be provided to Sensocon or a Sensocon
Representative.
- At Each Calibration Interval:
- A clearly labeled "temporary exchange product" with the information
provided in the
Calibration Exchange Service Agreement will be
delivered. The "temporary exchange product" will be a similar part
number with an equal or better accuracy and will include a Certificate
of Calibration traceable to NIST. After the exchange is made, the
product to be calibrated should be returned to Sensocon in the box
provided for calibration. Within 10 business days the original unit
will be returned with a NIST traceable certificate of calibration
showing the "As Found" and "As Left" condition of the product. The
"temporary exchange product" will then be returned to Sensocon and the
procedure will begin again at the next calibration interval.
- Other Features:
- In addition to the NIST calibrations, the warranty of the product
will be extended through the entire service period. So in the rare event
a product fails or is unable to be calibrated to specifications, Sensocon
will repair or replace at no charge the product as specified in the
Sensocon Terms and
Conditions.
